Poly aluminum chloride is an emerging water purification material. It is an inorganic high molecular coagulant, abbreviated as PAC (poly aluminum chloride). It is a water-soluble inorganic high molecular polymer between AlCI3 and Al(OH)3, and its general chemical formula is [Al2(OH)nCl6-nLm], where m represents the degree of polymerization and n represents the neutral degree of PAC products. Among m products, the products with n=1-5 is a highly charged polymeric ring chain with Keggin structure, which has a high degree of electrical neutralization and bridging action on colloids and particles in water, can strongly remove slightly toxic substances and heavy metal ions, and has stable properties. The inspection method can follow the national standard GB 15892-2003. Due to the bridging action of hydroxide ion and the polymerization of multivalent anions, the produced poly aluminum chloride is an inorganic high molecular water treatment agent with large relative molecular mass and high charge.

Properties: Colorless or yellow resinous solid. The solution is colorless or yellowish-brown transparent liquid, and sometimes it is grayish black mucus due to the impurities.

Use:

Sterilization, deodorization, decolorization, removal of fluoride, aluminum, chromium and phenol, removal of oil, removal of turbidity, removal of heavy metal salts, and removal of radioactive pollution, with a wide use in purification of various kinds of water wares.
